I signed up for one-to-one personal training sessions initially because I wanted to get strong enough to lift my kids up. I chose James because I wanted a coach who was qualified enough to show me the proper form. I had been to gyms in the past but whenever I tried the main lifts, e.g. deadlifts and squats, I would get injured. James has patiently built me up, not only teaching me the right form to lift properly and reduce the risk of injury, but also teaching me what stretches and warm ups to do to improve my mobility. Using his knowledge of biomechanics, James periodically carries out a series of tests which he uses to determine any imbalances in my body, e.g. in the shoulders and hips. These imbalances, left unchecked, cause me pain during some lifts and have been the reason for injuries in the past. This intelligent approach has allowed me to get stronger and more phyically active. James comes up with solutions to physical problems that are holding you back, that you just wouldn't think of, and which sets James apart from any other personal trainer. James also writes programs tailored to my needs and changes them often to keep me motivated. Each programs is intelligently designed to improve strength in the right areas. He has helped me make changes which have improved my quality of life and I would recommend James to anyone who experiences any pain or injuries while lifting or during everyday life. I would also recommend him to everyone who is serious about becoming the best version of themselves and setting good habits for later in life.

How do I get started?

During the consultation, we'll discuss your fitness goals, health history, and any concerns you may have. This is also a great opportunity for you to see our facilities and meet the team. After the consultation, you can choose the programme that best suits your needs and schedule your first session. Get ready to transform your health and fitness with us!
What if I'm a complete beginner?
No problem. The 28-Day Trial is designed for all fitness levels, including complete beginners.
We get to know your ability level and your goals in the consultation, so every training session will be tailored to you.
You’ll have coach support at all times so you go at the right pace for you – and build.
How long are the sessions?
Our SGPT sessions are usually 55 minutes long.
What if I have an existing Injury?
We’ve got you. A lot of people come to us with aches and pains or an injury history. We’ll discuss all this in your initial consultation, carefully plan your training around any restrictions, and set you on the path to full mobility and strength.
What happens after my 28 days?
If you’ve loved your 28-Day trial, you can easily transition to full membership.
Membership fees range from £99-249 per month, depending on how much personal training you want. You can choose from one, two, three or four sessions a week

Memberships work on a monthly rolling basis and are subject to a 30-day notice period.
